Personal Experiences

Heidi: For my part, I have not been able to serve a full-time mission, yet. It has not been in the Lord's plan for me up to this time in my life. However, I have a very strong testimony of missionaries and of the work they do. I believe in it, I support it, and I have my part in it as I do missionary work as a member. (One of the things I do is contribute to this wiki!) Both of my parents have served missions. My 5 brothers who have been old enough also served along with my 1 brother-in-law. Every one of them were called and sent to foreign countries where they learned a language that was not their native tongue. They like so many other missionaries each gained so much from these times in their lives that they whole-heartedly devoted to serving the Lord. I definitely look forward to serving a mission with my husband some day as a senior missionary couple. Until then, I'll be happy working as a member missionary.
