Who We Are

Just a Little Info

In case you were wondering about who keeps up this wiki, here are just a few brief auto-bios of ourselves.

Heidi: I was born into a family of members of the Church, my parents having been sealed in the temple when they were first married. I am the 7th of 8 children. I was baptized a member of the Church when I was 8. I have actively partcipated in the Church's programs from the time I was born and have loved all that the Church has had to offer me and how it has helped shape who I am. The Gospel has been the most wonderful thing in my life, followed closely by my family. I love each one very much, including all of the in-laws, nieces, and nephews that continue to join. I have interests in various things, such as reading, writing, and singing. I have a master's degree in Library and InformationScience and it is a joy for me to help others find information and gain more knowledge.

If you would like to contact me with more personal questions, you may do so. Please be sure to include "LDS question" in your subject line. I hold the right not to answer or respond to anything that I deem disrespectful, inappropriate, or crossing of sacred and/or personal boundaries. Thank you for your interest in knowing more about what we believe! I always love to share it with others.

Jess: Like Heidi, I was born into an LDS family and raised in the Church.  I am the oldest of 4 children.  I enjoy reading, writing, art, music, horseback riding and doing anything outside where I can enjoy God's creations.  In December 2008, I received a Bachelor's degree in Recreation Management and Youth Leadership (emphasis in Commerial Recreation) from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT.

During my "growing up years", my family moved a lot.  Some of the experiences these moves provided me with have built and shaped my testimony of the Gospel.  Some of the important things I learned were that the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ is universal, that the Holy Ghost testifies of the truth of all things to all people who seek it, and that God loves all of His Children. Other experiences have given me a deeply rooted faith in the principles of Eternal Families, Charity, Missionary Work, Temple Ordinances, and the strength of Testimony.  I am confident in my beliefs that Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the World, that He is the Only Begotten Son of our Heavenly Father, and that He Lives!

Feel free to contact me at jestkeptsecret (at) gmail (dot) com.  Be sure to include "Questions about the LDS Church" as your subject or I will think you're a spammer and I won't read the email.  I am happy to respond to your questions, but please be considerate and respectful when sending messages.
